She wanted him to feel guilty and even had a thought bubble about feeling bad for lying “but its possible it could’ve been true” FL does not have OG penelope’s memories, only things she gauged from the game she was playing obsessively
HOWEVER
The FL BEFORE she got iseaki’ed was that she had a similar abusive relationship with her father and older brothers.
There hasn’t been maybe flashbacks to her previous life in a while except for the brief silhouette we got to see this chapter.
FL is STILL exhibiting PTSD behaviour, its just not from the fake story she told little bro and honestly she played the game pretty religiously so she is under the assumption its going to start playing out like the game has

The story about her mother was very strange and out of character to just make up for no reason in the heat of an argument because subconsciously she remembered it. She’s just in denial currently about being the OG Penelope.
She won’t just throw a tantrum though because everyone likes Yvonne now. Penelope keeps trying to find ways to escape, “Yvonne” deliberately undermines her, and uses mind control to get the others to start treating Penelope like shit. Spoilers but the evil god in Yvonne’s body knows Penelope is the only mage capable of stopping her. First lifetime she placed a curse on Penelope that people wouldn’t trust her or believe her and treat her with suspicion and disdain. That’s why the ‘game mode’ was impossible to complete as Penelope and it followed her to modern day Korea which is why her Korean family was horrible to her.
